At Allocadia we continue the relentless pursuit of giving our customers the system they need to manage their marketing plans, budgets, and performance. In our most recent product release, our goal was to deliver an improved experience for Allocadia users, making it simpler and easier to create, manage and share key marketing data and insights.
You can read the full notes for release 53, or keep reading below for a summary of the changes and improvements you’ll soon discover.
Design Improvements
If you’re a regular user, you may have noticed a new look and feel to the Allocadia interface. We know marketers are visual people, so we’ve updated our design to make Allocadia feel lighter, cleaner and more modern. We believe these changes improve the overall experience of working within Allocadia. You’ll find new, more modern-looking headers and tabs, updated buttons and dropdown menus, and more consistent colors throughout. All of your favorite functionality is still there, just with a new skin.

Continuing HTML Updates
We announced last year that we were moving Allocadia to an HTML interface. In this release, we’ve continued that HTML roll-out by transitioning the “Import History” and “Tag” settings to HTML.
These new HTML sections mean enhanced options for users:
- In “Import History,” you can now sort data through a quick search. Plus, you can customize and save column widths in your default view.
- Tags work better now, too. Quickly reorder your tags by dragging and dropping them and choose the default tag by selecting the star icon.
More Flexible Hierarchies
We received feedback from a group of customers: Make hierarchies easier to update when using budget templates (also referred to as fixed categories). We listened. Now when you use budget templates and have a change in your company’s organization, you can easily update hierarchies on the Allocadia home tab to reflect that change.
Update: Audit Trail
In our last product release, No. 52, we announced improved audit trail functionality. Our enterprise customers asked for more control and visibility for managing large volumes of users. They were looking for ways to easily view all users’ activity, from the very highest overview all the way down to detailed, line-item activity levels. Their goal was to be able to easily investigate changes being made and to use that information to tell a story about the data that was being entered and updated. If there was a budget transfer, from where did it originate and where did it go? What was the story behind the activity happening in Allocadia?
We answered by adding a 90-day historical activity log that account owners and admins can search, sort and export.
This new audit trail functionality has been well-received by Allocadia customers. Now, we want to hear more feedback about how you’re using this new feature. Tell us what you think in the Customer Advocacy Portal. You’ll get points for sharing your feedback, and you’ll help us continue to improve Allocadia for you.
