Allocadia Product Release 55

On Sunday, November 23rd, Allocadia will roll out its next product release, release 55. This latest version of our marketing performance software brings new enterprise-class features. Here’s a summary of the updates you’ll see in this release.

New Outbound Actions

As the system of record and source of the marketing plan, Allocadia is often the starting point for the entire marketing lifecycle. Our customers wanted a way to leverage all of the existing planning data in Allocadia to kick off key processes in other related downstream systems in real-time. We’ve made this possible through our new outbound actions.

For example, you can set up actions such as:

  • Creating a campaign in your CRM or automation system.
  • Creating a purchase request or purchase order in your PO system.
  • Creating a project in your project management system.

“Openness” is one of Allocadia’s product themes, and outbound actions are one way we’re keeping Allocadia open and connected. Outbound actions complement Allocadia’s current inbound connectors, which allow users to pull in financial and performance data from other systems, including ERP, PO, CRM, automation and social systems. Outbound actions will now kick off processes in these other systems before having the data come back into Allocadia for a true closed-loop, end-to-end integrated platform.

Mobile Beta

Exciting news! Allocadia is now available in beta for mobile devices. We’ve been making progress in our transition from Flex to HTML, and we’re now officially mobile-accessible. We’re still in beta, so we’re starting by offering two basic uses for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets:

  • View all of your your Budget tab details.
  • View all of your Analytics tab Dashboards and Reports.

We’ll continue to enhance our mobile offerings in the future, so stay tuned for an improved and optimized mobile experience.

Search Activities

Most marketers who use Allocadia manage a lot of activities. Now, when you need to access an activity to update your forecast, find an item that’s attached to a particular purchase order, or your boss comes to you with a specific question, you’ll be able to update and find answers even faster.

Search all items by name or ID. No more scrolling — you’ll be able to find the activity you’re looking for quicker and with less effort. And, remember, you can also filter all your activities. Want to filter all activities that are committed? Or all activities that aren’t assigned a dollar amount? Presto. Filtering is fast and easy.

New Organization-Wide Settings

Introducing a new organization-wide settings area. For Organization Admins, the gear will be a one-stop-shop for all of your organization-wide settings — including Single Sign-On in this release (see details below). In the future, this will house global organization features such as a brandable header, centralized user management and configurable roles.

Single Sign-On

Single Sign-On (SSO) is often a requirement for organizations who need to centrally manage access to all their organization’s applications. Organization Admins can now configure SSO  easily and quickly within the new Allocadia organization-wide settings area. For end users, this means you can now more easily log into Allocadia alongside all your other core technologies through your company’s centralized login portal. Detailed instructions on how to set-up SSO by your organization’s Administrator or IT team are provided during implementation.

Audit Trail Available to All Users Except the Viewer Role

Editors can now view the audit trail in Allocadia. Previously, only Owners and Admins could view the audit trail. The audit trail allows full visibility into every user’s action, right down to the line item and specific cell level. You can access the audit trail through the Home and Budget tab details panels.
